China Environmental United Certification Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as “CEC”) is an independent third-party certification body approved by the original Ministry of Environmental Protection, and authorized by Certification and Accreditation Administration of PRC.  

As an authority body in the integrated field of environment, energy and climate change, CEC performs validation, verification and certification services in international and domestic markets, including Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER), GHG emission verifications in domestic ETS, energy management system (EnMS), energy conservation, cleaner production auditing, China low-carbon product certification, China Environmental Labelling, green supply chain (GSC) etc. CEC is committed to provide impartial and independent certification and evaluation services for all clients.

CEC is also a national research institution providing technical supports for environmental protection, climate change, green supply chain management and such fields. 

CEC has 18 branches located in Shanghai , Guangdong Province, Fujian Province, Sichuan Province, Hubei Province, Hebei Province, Jilin Province, Liaoning Province, Shandong Province, Shanxi Province, Heilongjiang Province, Anhui Province, Inner Mongolia, Henan Province, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Dongguan City and Dalian. More than 200 employees serve in CEC.

Business Area

CEC has five major business sectors in low carbon areas: verification and certification of GHG emission reductions at project level, verification and certification of GHG emission reductions in supply chain and low carbon products, verification of GHG emissions at enterprise level; energy conversation auditing and research on low-carbon subjects.
